Mohammad Umar Saeed is currently working as a DBT-JRF Fellow at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Basic Sciences (CIRBSc.), Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), New Delhi, India. He is pursuing a Ph.D. in Computational Biology to contribute to the realm of drug discovery using artificial intelligence, developing the framework for therapeutic identification targeting the human kinome.
His areas of interest include computational drug discovery, structural bioinformatics, artificial intelligence, MD simulations, and multiomics data analysis. He has achieved several awards like DBT-JRF 2024, CSIR-UGC-NET-JRF 2024, GATE-XL 23, GATE-XL 24, and GAT-B 2021.
His academic journey includes an M.Sc. in bioinformatics and a B.Sc. in biotechnology. He has also published several publications in peer-reviewed journals, including fields of structure-based drug design and multiomics analysis. He is always ready to explore new avenues in AI-assisted drug design, making it scalable and optimised for precision therapeutics.
