Zehra
PhD Scholar
Zehra is currently working as a PhD scholar at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Basic Sciences (CIRBSc), Jamia Millia Islamia , New Delhi, India. She is pursuing PhD in Computational Biology. Her research interest is peculiar to cancer domain encompassing multitudinous fields that includes Next Generation Sequencing, structure-based drug discovery, translational bioinformatics, AI models in pharmacotranscriptomics.
As a part of her doctoral research, she is working on a project titled “Targeting cyclin dependent kinase family protein in precision medicine for cancer therapeutics.” Her work emphasizes the identification of gene signature associated with cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) and the discovery of promising inhibitors as a potential anticancer agents through AI integrated Pharmacotranscriptomic analysis.
Her work aims to enhance the therapeutic potential of CDK-targeted strategies by improving specificity, efficacy in precision oncology. She pursued Master’s degree in Bioinformatics and a Bachelor’s degree in Biosciences and has several publications in well reputed peer-reviewed journals.
