PhD Scholar
Zulfareen Gaur is currently working as a Ph.D. Scholar at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Basic Sciences (CIRBSc), Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), New Delhi, India. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Structural Biology and Drug Design, with research primarily focused on designing novel modulators targeting the PKM2 protein for cancer prevention and treatment.
Her areas of interest include structural biology, computational drug discovery, molecular biology, and biophysical techniques. As part of her ongoing research, she is working on a project titled "Design and Development of Novel PKM2 Modulators for Cancer Therapeutics" which aims to develop effective small-molecule candidates that can modulate PKM2 activity, offering potential strategies for innovative cancer therapies. Zulfareen Gaur has qualified the GATE examination in support of her academic and research pursuits. She has contributed to scientific literature with several publications.
