Khadija

PhD Scholar

Khadija Imtiyaz is currently working as a PhD scholar at Hassan’s Lab with research primarily focused on discovering and optimizing novel therapeutics to combat cancer. Her areas of interest include computational and experimental approaches, including structure-based drug design, molecular modeling, and preclinical evaluations, to develop targeted and effective therapies.

As part of her ongoing research, she is working on a project titled "Structure guided design and development of potential inhibitors of human thymidine kinase 1 for therapeutic targeting of lung cancer", which aims to integrate bioinformatics, AI-driven drug discovery, and translational researchto bridge the gap between computational predictions and clinical applications. She have contributed to scientific literature with several publications.
