Naima Noor

PhD Scholar

Noor is currently a Research Scholar at Hassan’s Lab, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), New Delhi, India. Her research focuses on drug resistance mutations in Human Protein Kinases, aiming to understand the molecular basis of kinase inhibitor resistance and develop computational strategies for next-generation targeted therapeutics.

Her research interests include protein kinases, drug resistance mechanisms, computational drug discovery, structural bioinformatics, molecular modeling, molecular dynamics simulations, artificial intelligence, and precision medicine. She is dedicated to integrating computational and biological approaches to accelerate drug discovery and advance precision therapeutics.

She qualified the CSIR-UGC NET (LS), DBT-BET Category II, and GATE XL 2024. She holds a Master’s degree in Biochemistry and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at Jamia Millia Islamia.

Her long-term research goal is to contribute to the development of innovative therapeutic strategies for overcoming drug resistance in human protein kinases through computational and structural biology.
